Choose Recover account on the host sign-in page and verify a fresh sign-in link sent to your original email. Recovery signs out older host sessions. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, contact the platform owner; a new email does not automatically gain access to old events.
If the organizer enabled approvals, a new submission remains pending until it is approved. You can still see its status through your private guest access.
