The world is coming to an end on December 21, 2012! The ancient Maya made this stunning prediction more than 2,000 years ago. We'll peel back the layers of mystery and examine in detail how the Maya calculated the exact date of doomsday. Journey back to the ancient city of Chichen Itza, the hub of Maya civilization deep in the heart of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, to uncover the truth about this prophecy. The Maya were legendary astronomers and timekeepers--their calendar is more accurate than our own. By tracking the stars and planets they assigned great meaning to astronomical phenomena and made extraordinary predictions based on them--many of which have come true. Could their doomsday prophecy be one of them? In insightful interviews archaeologists, astrologers, and historians speculate on the meaning of the 2012 prophecy. Their answers are as intriguing as the questions.

Welcome to this special edition of the Veritas Show, with your host Mel Fabregas, in this special edition we have taken the interviews with Clif High, from episodes 18 and 19 of the Veritas Show. Clif High Maybe some of you have heard of The Web Bot Project, but for those of you who have not, it's quite intriguing. The Web Bot Project, developed in the late 1990's, was created to assist in making stock market predictions. The technology uses a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does. When a keyword is located, the bot program takes a snapshot of the text preceding and following the keyword. This snapshot of text is sent to a central location where it is then filtered to define meaning. Below is an introduction to Clif High, from Mel Fabregas. Cliff HIGH AND GEORGE URE(2)', two self-described "time monks," shared dire predictions based on their web bot technology.Their method captures changes in language patterns within Internet discussions. This aggregated data is then processed with software to determine various keywords, which they interpret in a predictive fashion. FOR THE COMING MONTHS. The two recommended developing self-sufficiency and the ability to live off the grid. The projects concept is aimed at tapping into the collective unconscious of the universe and it's inhabitants. As well, there is an interesting time concept involved and an unusual concept of a "tipping point" regarding the past, current, and future times. In 2001, the bot operators began to notice that stock market predictions were not the only matters being accurately predicted by the program and they began to take notice of the coincidence with occurrences and explored it further. One of the first accurate predictions from the bot program took place in June of 2001. At that time, the program predicted that a life altering event would take place within the next 60-90 days. An occurrence of such proportion that it's effects would be felt worldwide. The program based it's prediction on its filtered web chatter content which, ultimately represents the collective unconscious of society. Regrettably, the program's prediction proved accurate and the Twin Towers fell on 9/11/2001. This is where it starts to become interesting. The bot program also predicts a worldwide calamity taking place in the year 2012. WITH US TONIGHT, A SURPRISE GUEST, FROM THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, ONE OF THE CREATORS OF THE WEBBOT PROJECT. The Doomsday Code1:41:09 -
Tony Robinson travels to America, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Africa to gather evidence that might uncover the realities behind the prophecies contained within the Book of Revelation. He interviews people who believe millions will be spirited up to Heaven, Israel will fight a nuclear war, that the Secretary General of the UN will be unmasked as the Anti-Christ and the world will end after the Battle of Armageddon. Recently passed philosopher, scientist (and some may say, eccentric) Terrance McKenna was a complex man with a complex theory that ended in a simple statement: December of 2012 will be a time that we will never forget.
After intensely studying the I-Ching, the Ancient Chinese Oracle known as the "book of changes," (some say with the assistance of psychoactive plants in the Amazon) he began to see patterns. The I-Ching is composed of 64 hexagrams, which are made up of six levels each of alternating horizontal bars and dots. If you line them up and stack them so that they are within a perfect square, you start to see a movement within the shapes.
He decided to create a linear model beginning in time with the era that the I-Ching was created in China and continuing to the present to see what patterns develop. When he input this information into a computer program, it formulated a graph with a rising and falling line, like a stock market forecast. He then noticed something astonishing. The parts of the line that were highest or lowest corresponded with times in history when new forms were developing.
When the line reached a peak, a new form would trigger the psyche of people. When the line fell into a crevasse, it aligned with a time when reality seemed to be falling apart, or there was a great event, or group of events all at once, that galvanized people. (The graph tells when, not where or what happens.)
You can see by the graph that important things happen in peaks and in troughs, both. My personal theory is that the peaks are when the lights go on and someone embodies this by creating some new form (which may not be able to be assimilated, and therefore is feared or shunned). The low points are when the lights go out and everyone is scrambling to find the switch because nothing is recognizable. Each requires a new form to come in to existence, but for a different reason.
Following the line on the graph, we see it take its last rise around the time of Classical Greece (around 700 B.C.) and then take a steady plunge until it simply dives off the graph into infinity, ending the module. And when was this event that had not occurred ever in the history of mankind you may ask? It was 2012. December 21st of 2012 to be exact; the final moments of the Mayan Calendar, as well, a calendar which had begun 5000 years ago, ending with the same date that Terrance's module ended with.
Terrance saw this time period ending with time being compressed, over and over, from 1945 to 2012. What may we expect from this based on his calculations and the discoveries of correlations of the cycles of past events?
McKenna said in an interview with Sightings TV show that his best guess is that it is as if someone is likely to invent a time traveling machine of sorts, because it is as if it is the end of linear time. In other words, all time merges into one time. Everything becomes connected to everything else. Past, present and future become one. We could in effect be experiencing an infinite amount of evolution in a finite time.
Around 1968 there was the last peak. This coincided with a very tumultuous point in our cultural history in the USA. While the hippies frolicked and tried to create Nirvana on earth, the Vietnam War was escalated into its final death throws, and Martin Luther King's message came across amidst riots and violence until his voice was silenced. We can see that this peak provided great events that touched the psyche of a group of people and still resonates today.
As we progress in time, we experience more rapid evolutionary growth in shorter time periods. The last one we had was between that time of 1967-68 until the 1990s, which corresponded to The Dark Ages of the past. Then it cycles again from 2010 until 2012, only 64 times faster, then in 2012, 64 times faster still. In other words, we must adapt and evolve 64 times faster each cycle. (Remember what I said earlier about 64 being the number of hexagrams in the I-Ching.)
No one really knows what will happen. As the different views on this time period converge, this date of 2012 is beginning to be known in the mainstream culture. Whether taking it seriously or not, people are starting to notice. And when that happens, just like the compressed and sped up time, the attention draws energy to the date and speeds that energy toward us, creating a fait accompli.
As we are propelled closer and closer to 2012, I believe that it will be important to be able to be incredibly agile, releasing the old willingly and adapting to each quickly shifting circumstance with lightening fast decisions in the moment, decisions that come from the heart. This will ensure that we are where we need to be for our soul's best interest and that we will be there in peace.
We won't have to look at a graph, know how fast things are speeding up, or ask someone what we should be doing. We will just know. If what Terrance McKenna is saying is true, this will be a day out of time while we are still on earth, and could provide an opportunity for this life and all lifetimes for each soul on earth.

I Ching
The date December 22, 2012 is the End of the I Ching. Ethnobotanists and fractal time experts Terrence and Dennis McKenna believe it is, and they present their ideas in Invisible Landscape: Mind Hallucinogens and the I Ching (1993).
Their studies began with the I Ching, which is composed of 64 hexagrams, or six-line figures. It struck them that 6 x 64 = 384, which is exceptionally close to the number of days in 13 lunar months (29.5306 x 13 = 383.8978), and that maybe the I Ching was originally an ancient Chinese calendar. Further multiples had astronomical significance:
1 day x 64 x 6 = 384 days = 13 lunar months
384 days x 64 = 67 years, 104.25 days = 6 minor sunspot cycles (11.2 years each)
67 years, 104.25 days x 64 = 4306+ years = 2 Zodiacal ages
4306+ years x 6 = 25836 years = 1 precession of the equinoxes
The McKenna brothers, by matching the levels of the pattern with key periods in history, they determined it would fit best if the end of the time scale was December 22, 2012. This is the only point in which the level of novelty reaches its maximum, and everything that happens is new. Change feeds upon itself like nano-machines converting every atom in the universe into gold.

The Mother Shipton Prophecies
By Laura Lenhard Talisman
While the Mayan, Hopi and Lakota prophecies have garnered an amazing amount of attention concerning “end days” and 2012, those of Mother Shipton are largely unknown by the general public. While I do not wish to add to the craze currently sweeping the media in connection with 2012, I do feel that the historic aspect of her writings deserve some attention. Please know that I am aware there is controversy over the legitimacy of her writing and even of her existence. However . . .
Mother Shipton reputedly was born Ursula Sontheil in 1488 in Norfolk, England, and died in 1561. She was a contemporary of Nostradamus, but, being a woman, was not allowed his level of education and lacked his medical and astrological training and the forbearance of royal friends at court to nurture and protect her. She exhibited prophetic and psychic abilities from an early age. At 24 married to Toby Shipton, she eventually became known as Mother Shipton. Many of her visions came true within her own lifetime and in subsequent centuries. The verses from Mother Shipton seem to have prophetic indications for our times, but, of course, are open to interpretation. The lines known as “Mother Shipton’s Prophecy” were first published in England in 1485, before the discovery of America, and, of course, before any of the discoveries and inventions mentioned therein. Many of the events predicted have come to pass except that in the last two lines.
Carriages without horses shall go
And accidents fill the world with woe
Around the world thoughts shall fly
In the twinkling of an eye
Waters shall yet more wonders do
Now strange, yet shall be true
The world upside down shall be
And gold be found at root of tree
Through hills man shall ride
And no horse nor ass be at his side.
Under water man shall walk
Shall ride, shall sleep, shall talk
In the air men shall be seen
In white, in black, in green
Iron in the water shall float
As easy as a wooden boat.
Gold shall be found ‘mid stone
In a land that’s now unknown
Fire and water shall wonders do
England shall at last admit a Jew
And this world to an end shall come
In eighteen hundred and eighty-one
She correctly predicted the dissolution of the Catholic Church under Henry VIII, the fall of Cardinal Wolsey, the untimely death of Henry’s son Edward VI, the horrific reign of “Bloody” Mary I, and the ascent of Queen Elizabeth to the throne of England. Again, many of her visions came true with specific clarity within her own lifetime and in subsequent centuries.
Like Nostradamus, to capture the public imagination and most likely to also avoid persecution for the crime of witchcraft, she published her prophecies in rhyme and verse. Still, she saved her penultimate work for her later years just before her death. And so in 1559 she published an epic poem for which she would become best known down through the ages. She died in Clifton, Yorkshire in 1591 – five years before Nostradamus. These verses may have prophetic indications for our times, but of course are open to interpretation as noted below - Note: These are NOT mine! - in parenthesis ( ).
And now a word, in uncouth rhyme of what shall be in future time:
•Then upside down the world shall be And gold found at the root of tree All England’s sons that plough the land Shall oft be seen with Book in hand The poor shall now great wisdom know Great houses stand in far flung vale All covered o’er with snow and hail.
•{The advent of the printing press and the mass distribution of books, a dearly expensive rarity in her day, seemingly to herald an age of knowledge and enlightenment even for the very poor. But this also leads to the mass migration into festering cites, leaving the great houses of the countryside bare and forlorn.}
•A carriage without horse will go, Disaster fill the world with woe. In London, Primrose Hill shall be In center hold a bishops sea.
•{Motorcars and trains and their accidents, and the formation of the Church of England by Henry VIII as its sole head.}
•Around the world men’s thoughts will fly, Quick as the twinkling of an eye. And water shall great wonders do, How strange, and yet it shall come true.
•{Telephone, radio, television and the internet. The building of massive dams and the harnessing of waterfalls, like Niagara, for hydroelectric power which then lights the world.}
•Through towering hills proud men shall ride, No horse or ass move by his side. Beneath the water, men shall walk, Shall ride, shall sleep, shall even talk.
•{Cities with canyons made of skyscrapers. Submarines, the aqua-lung and SCUBA gear allowing man to work and even live beneath the sea. Aquatic cities in our future, maybe.}
•And in the air men shall be seen, In white and black and even green. A great man, shall come and go For prophecy declares it so.
•{Modern aircraft. There have been many great men since Mother Shipton’s time. But she points to a great prophet that may be yet to come.}
•In water, iron then shall float As easy as a wooden boat. Gold shall be seen in stream and stone, In land that is yet unknown.
•{Ships made of iron and steel and probably a description of America and its wealth. Certainly an accurate description of California in the Gold Rush days.}
•And England shall admit a Jew, Do you think this strange? But it is true! The Jew that once was led in scorn, Shall of a Christian then be born.
•{Help in creation of Israel in 1948 by the British and the United Nations.}
•A house of glass shall come to pass, In England. But alas, alas!
A war will follow with the work Where dwells the pagan and the Turk.
•{Describes the building of a gigantic glass atrium in London called The Crystal Palace for The Great Exhibition of 1851. It was a huge iron Goliath with a million feet of glass housing over 13,000 exhibits. It was destroyed by fire November 30, 1936. The rest could describe any number of British wars or adventures in the Mid and Far East after that, and the massive expansion of the British Empire under German Queen Victoria Hapsburg. The Afghan, Indian and Boer wars.}
•These states will lock in fiercest strife, And seek to take each other’s life. When north shall thus divide the south An eagle build in lion’s mouth Then tax and blood and cruel war Shall come to every humble door.
•{Probably describes a war between the Northern & Southern countries as above, describing joint US (Eagle) and British (Lion) forces. It could also allude to the American Civil War.}
•Three times shall lovely sunny France Be led to play a bloody dance. Before the people shall be free Three tyrant rulers shall she see.
•{The different French Republics. The French Revolution under Robespierre, however Napoleon had two successors, Napoleon II and III.}
•Three rulers in succession be Each springs from different dynasty. Then when the fiercest strife is done.
•England and France shall be as one.
•{World War II – England & France as allies}
•The British olive shall next then twine, In marriage with a German vine. Men walk beneath and over streams Fulfilled shall be their wondrous dreams.
•{Queen Victoria and Prince Albertwere German Hapsburgs, who later changed their name to Windsor, supplanting the rightful heirs of the House of Stewart. Post Second World War scenario}
•For in those wondrous far off days, The women shall adopt a craze To dress like men, and trousers wear And to cut off all their locks of hair. They’ll ride astride with brazen brow, As witches do on broomsticks now.
•{Craze in women to dress like men, wearing trousers and cutting their hair, adopting various hairstyles and riding horses, and bikes straddle instead of side-saddle (Nice description J )}
•And roaring monsters with men atop, Does seem to eat the verdant crop. And men shall fly as birds do now, And give away the horse and plow.
•{Crop harvesting machines & tractors, and the mass exodus from farms into cities}
•They’ll be a sign for all to see Be sure that it will certain be.
•Then love shall die and marriage cease And nations wane as babes decrease.
•{Failure of marriages and divorce. Decrease in population (in Europe) and wholesale abortion in America. Could be a future time when birth rates plummet due to radiation, earth changes or volcanic ash.}
•And wives shall fondle cats and dogs And men live much the same as hogs.
{Sounds like a very female point of view here!}
Mother Shipton’s next prophecies continue on the outer wrappings of the scrolls.
•I know I go, I know I’m free, I know that this will come to be, Secreted this, for this will be Found by later dynasty.
•{Describes how her prophecies written on scrolls will be discovered at a later date after her death.}
•A dairy maid, a bonnie lass, Shall kick this tome as she does pass And five generations she shall breed Before one male child does learn to read.
•{For five generations these scrolls will be held by a family of a girl and then the fifth generation male child will learn to read and understand them.}
•This is then held year by year, Till an iron monster trembling fear, Eats parchment, words and quill and ink, And mankind is given time to think.
•{Nice description of a printing press, which “eats” papers, “words” and ink. With the burden of manual copying of books removed, this brings about a new age of learning and enlightenment when man can devote more time to thinking.}
•And only when this comes to be Will mankind read this prophecy. But one man sweets another’s bain So I shall not have burned in vain.
•{After the invention of the printing press her prophecies will be printed and man will read this.}
Mother Shipton’s next set of prophecies are found on a scroll in another jar.
•The signs will be there for all to read;
When man shall do most heinous deed Man will ruin kinder lives;
By taking them as to their wives.
And murder foul and brutal deed:
When man will only think of greed.
And man shall walk as if asleep;
He does not look – he may not peep And iron men the tail shall do;
And iron cart and carriage too.
•{The greed of modern man}
•The king shall false promise make;
And talk just for talking’s sake.
And nations plan horrific war;
The like as never seen before.
And taxes rise and lively down;
And nations wear perpetual frown.
•{False promises by politicians, wars between nations, increase in taxes and perpetual tension among nations.}
•Yet greater sign there be to see;
As man nears latter century.
Three sleeping mountains gather breath, And spew out mud, ice and death. An earthquake swallow town and town;
In lands as yet to me unknown. And Christian one fights Christian two And nations sigh, yet nothing do. And yellow men great power gain;
From a mighty bear with whom they’ve lain.
•{Volcanoes, earthquakes (in unknown land – America?) destroying town after town, fighting between nations. Speaks of a Chinese (yellow) – Russian (bear) alliance against the west. Most of China’s current weapons have come in deals with Russia.}
•These mighty tyrants will fail to do, They fail to split the world in two. But from their acts a danger bred;
An ague, leaving many dead.
•{Failure of this Russian/Chinese alliance, indication of war leaving many dead. The word “Ague” means flu plague or epidemic of disease.}
•And physics find no remedy;
For this is worse than leprosy.
Oh many signs for all to see;
The truth of this true prophecy.
•{No remedy in science for this coming plague.}
Mother Shipton’s last prophecy:
•In nineteen hundred and twenty-six Build houses light of straw and sticks. For then shall mighty wars be planned And fire and swords shall sweep the land.
•{Mis-timed prophecy for World War I or WWII? Of course she may still be correct, as this is the period of time in which the NEXT great war is being PLANNED. In this same approximate time-frame, Hitler and Rudolph Hess are in jail together writing MEIN KAMPF.}
•When pictures seem alive with movements free, When boats like fishes swim beneath the sea. When men like birds shall scour the sky. Then half the world, deep drenched in blood shall die.
•{Television - Submarines, aircraft and then death through War.}
The following are prophecies on our future:
•For those who live the century through In fear and trembling this shall do. Flee to the mountains and the dens To bog and forest and wild fens.
•{After the 20th century is over, people will live in fear and flee to mountains, dens & forests for refuge.}
•For storms will rage and oceans roar When Gabriel stands on sea and shore, And as he blows his wondrous horn Old worlds die and new be born.
•{The Last Trumpet. The Biblical Revelation. The destruction of this civilization and creation of a new one – the so called “End Of The World”.}
•A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before the earth shall die. Mankind will tremble and frightened be For the six heralds in this prophecy.
•{Appearance of a series of six comets and a probable collision with earth as indicated in the Bible and by Nostradamus. In the last 20 years alone we have seen at least four spectacular comets or “fiery dragons”: Halley’s, Kahoutek (a bit of a dud), Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp. But it appears here that she is referring to a SINGLE OBJECT that grazes the atmosphere before a collision.}
•For seven days and seven nights Man will watch this awesome sight. The tides will rise beyond their ken. To bite away the shores and then The mountains will begin to roar And earthquakes split the plain to shore.
•{After asteroid hits in the oceans, huge tidal waves will strike followed by awakening of volcanoes and earthquakes.}
•And flooding waters rushing in, Will flood the lands with such a din That mankind cowers in muddy fen And snarls about his fellow men.
•{Tidal waves and wars continue.}
•He bares his teeth and fights and kills And secrets food in secret hills And ugly in his fear, he lies To kill marauders, thieves and spies.
•{Continuation of wars in spite of disasters. The storing up of secret food supplies in underground bases.}
•Man flees in terror from the floods And kills, and rapes and lies in blood And spilling blood by mankind’s hand Will stain and bitter many lands.
•{Continuation of the World War}
•And when the dragon’s tail is gone Man forgets and smiles and carries on. To apply himself – too late, too late For mankind has earned deserved fate.
•{War and natural disasters will abate for a brief period of time after the dragon’s tail of a comet or asteroid disappears from the heavens. Peace will seemingly return but man’s fate is already sealed.}
•His masked smile, his false grandeur, Will serve the gods their anger stir And they will send the dragon back To light the sky—his tail will crack. Upon the earth and rend the earth And man shall flee, king, lord and serf.
•{When peace has returned and man is complacent, suddenly an even greater disaster happens. }
•But slowly they are routed out To seek diminishing water spout And men will die of thirst before The oceans rise to mount to the shore. And lands will crack and rend anew Do you think it strange? It will come true!
•{More earthquakes, floods and death.}
•And in some far—off distant land Some men—Oh, such a tiny band Will have to leave their solid mount And span the earth, those few to count.
•{Survivors coming out from their hiding places underground – the Biblical phrase “dead will come out of their graves.”}
•Who survives this (unreadable) and then Begin the human race again.
But not on land already there, But on ocean beds, stark, dry and bare.
•{Survivors start a new civilization, not on lands which are poisoned due to war and nuclear radiation but on lands rising out of the sea after the Great Tribulation.}
•Not every soul on earth will die, As the dragon’s tail goes sweeping by, Not every land on earth will sink, But these will wallow in stench and stink, Of rotting bodies of beast and man, Of vegetation crisped on land.
•{The existing lands will be littered with bodies of humans, animals and burned vegetation, although all humans will not die during the “Judgement Day”.}
•But the land that rises from the sea Will be dry and clean and soft and free. Of mankind’s dirt and therefore be, The source of man’s new dynasty. And those that live will ever fear The dragon’s tail for many year But time erases memory You think it strange? But it will be!
•{Land rising from the sea will be clean and free of all these and this is where the new civilizations will be started. Slowly the memory of the disasters will fade away as time passes and fear will subside.}
•And before the race is built anew, A silver serpent comes to view And spew out men of like unknown. To mingle with the earth now grown Cold from its heat and these men can Enlighten the minds of future man. To intermingle and show them how To live and love and thus endow The children with the second sight A natural thing so that they might Grow graceful, humble and when they do The Golden Age will start anew.
•{Possibly the arrival of extraterrestrials in their space ships who will enlighten the men starting the new civilization. Children will be gifted with special (mental) powers which becomes a naturally occurring phenomenon. Then The Golden Age of man will begin again.}
•The dragon’s tail is but a sign For mankind’s fall and man’s decline. And before this prophecy is done I shall be burned at the stake, at One. My body singed and my soul set free.
You think I utter blasphemy? You’re wrong! These things have come to me THIS PROPHECY WILL COME TO BE!
•{Asserts that this prophecy will come true even though people might think of her prophecy as blasphemy

And iron men the tail shall do;
and iron cart and carriage too.
The king shall false promise make;
and talk just for talking’s sake.
And nations plan horrific war;
the like as never seen before.
and taxes rise and lively down;
and nations wear perpetual frown.
yet greater sign there be to see;
as man nears latter century.
three sleeping mountains gather breath,
and spew out mud, ice and death.
an earthquake swallow town and town;
in lands as yet to me unknown
And Christian one fights Christian two
and nations sigh, yet nothing do.
And yellow men great power gain;
from mighty bear with whom they’ve lain.
These mightly tyrants will fail to do,
they fail to split the world in two.
But from their acts a danger bred;
an ague, leaving many dead.
And physics find no remedy;
for this is worse than lepresy.
Oh many signs for all to see;
the truth of this true prophecy.
THE LAST PROPHECY
In nineteen hundred and twenty-six
build houses light of straw and sticks.
For then shall mighty wars be planned
and fire and swords shall sweep the land.
When pictures seem alive with movements free,
when boats like fishes swim beneath the sea.
When men like birds shall scour the sky.
Then half the world, deep drenched in blood shall die.
For those who live the century through
in fear and trembling this shall do.
Flee to the mountains and the dens
to bog and forest and wild fens.
For storms will rage and oceans roar
when Gabriel stands on sea and shore,
and as he blows his wondrous horn
old worlds die and new be born.
A fiery dragon will cross the sky
six times before the earth shall die.
Mankind will tremble and frightened be
for the six heralds in this prophecy.
For seven days and seven nights
man will watch this awesome sight.
The tides will rise beyond their ken.
To bite away the shores and then
the mountains will begin to roar
and earthquakes split the plain to shore.
And flooding waters rushing in,
will flood the lands with such a din
that mankind cowers in muddy fen
and snarls about his fellow men.
He bares his teeth and fights and kills
and secrets food in secret hill
and ugly in his fear, he lies
to kill marauders, thieves and spies.
Man flees in terror from the floods
and kills, and rapes and lies in blood
and spilling blood by mankind’s hand
will stain and bitter many lands.
And when the dragon’s tail is gone
man forgets and smiles and carries on.
To apply himself – too late, too late
for mankind has earned deserved fate.
His masked smile, his false grandeur,
will serve the gods their anger stir
and they will send the dragon back
to light the sky – his tail will crack.
Upon the earth and rend the earth
and man shall flee, king, lord and serf.
But slowly they are routed out
to seek diminishing water spout
and men will die of thirst before
the oceans rise to mount to the shore.
And lands will crack and rend anew
do you think it strange, it will come true.
And in some far – off distant land
some men – oh such a tiny band
will have to leave their solid mount
and span the earth, those few to count.
Who survives this (unreadable) and then
begin the human race again.
But not on land already there,
but on ocean beds, stark, dry and bare.
Not every soul on earth will die,
as the dragon’s tail goes sweeping by,
not every land on earth will sink,
but these will wallow in stench and stink,
of rotting bodies of beast and man,
of vegetation crisped on land.
But the land that rises from the sea
will be dry and clean and soft and free.
Of mankinds dirt and therefore be,
the source of man’s new dynasty.
and those that live will ever fear
the dragon’s tail for many year
but time erases memory
You think it strange. but it will be.
And before the race is built anew,
a silver serpent comes to view
and spew out men of like unknown
to mingle with the earth now grown
cold from its heat and these men can
enlighten the minds of future man
to intermingle and show them how
to live and love and thus endow.
the children with the second sight.
a natural thing so that they might
grow graceful, humble and when they do
the golden age will start anew.
The dragon’s tail is but a sign
for mankind’s fall and man’s decline.
and before this prophecy is done
I shall be burned at the stake, at l
My body cinged and my soul set free
You think I utter blastphemy
your wrong. These things have come to me
this prophecy will come

Mother Shipton's Prophecies-2
Kent Lawrence
This rare collection of "Mother Shipton's Prophecies" was sent to Nexus by a reader who related that, 30 years ago, she painstakingly transcribed them and managed to smuggle them out of the Mitchell Library in Sydney, now the State Library of New South Wales. The originals were kept in a locked room, along with many other volumes of prophetic writings deemed unsuitable for viewing by the general public.
Mother Shipton was born Ursula Sontheil in 1488 in Norfolk, England, and died in 1561. She exhibited prophetic and psychic abilities from an early age. At 24, she married to Toby Shipton and eventually became known as Mother Shipton [See Footnote for more about her History]. Many of her visions came true within her own lifetime and in subsequent centuries. These rare verses seem to have prophetic indications for our times, but are, of course, open to interpretation.
"A carriage without horse will go, disaster fill the world with woe. In London, Primrose Hill shall be in center hold a bishops sea. Around the world men's thoughts will fly, quick as the twinkling of an eye. And water shall great wonders do, How strange, and yet it shall come true.
Through towering hills proud men shall ride, no horse or ass move by his side. Beneath the water, men shall walk, shall ride, shall sleep, shall even talk. And in the air men shall be seen, In white and black and even green. A great man, shall come and go for prophecy declares it so.
In water, iron then shall float as easy as a wooden boat. Gold shall be seen in stream and stone, In land that is yet unknown. And England shall admit a Jew, Do you think this strange, but it is true. The Jew that once was led in scorn, shall of a christian then be born.
A house of glass shall come to pass, In England. But alas, alas, a war will follow with the work where dwells the pagan and the turk. These states will lock in fiercest strife, and seek to take each other's life. When north shall thus divide the south an eagle build in lion's mouth then tax and blood and cruel war shall come to every humble door.
Three times shall lovely sunny France be led to play a bloody dance. Before the people shall be free three tyrant rulers shall she see. Three rulers in succession be each springs from different dynasty. Then when the fierceststrife is done. England and France shall be as one. The British olive shall next then twine, in marriage with a German vine. Men walk beneath and over streams fulfilled shall be their wondrous dreams.
For in those wondrous far off days, the women shall adopt a craze to dress like men, and trousers wear and to cut off their locks of hair. They'll ride astride with brazen brow, as witches do on broomsticks now. And roaring monsters with men atop, does seem to eat the verdent crop.
And men shall fly as birds do now, and give away the horse and plow.
They'll be a sign for all to see be sure that it will certain be. Then love shall die and marriage cease and nations wane as babes decrease. And wives shall fondle cats and dogs and men live much the same as hogs.
ON THE OUTER WRAPPINGS OF THE SCROLLS
I know I go, I know I'm free, I know that this will come to be, Secreted this, for this will be found by later dynasty. A dairy maid, a bonnie lass, shall kick this tome as she does pass And five generations she shall breed before one male child does learn to read.
This is then held year by year, till an iron monster trembling fear, eats parchment, words and quill and ink, and mankind is given time to think. And only when this comes to be will mankind read this prophecy. But one man sweets anothers bain so I shall not have burned in vein.
FOUND ON A SCROLL IN ANOTHER JAR
The signs will be there for all to read; when man shall do most heinous deed man will ruin kinder lives; by taking them as to their wives. And murder foul and brutal deed: when man will only think of greed. and man shall walk as if asleep; he does not look - he may not peep And iron men the tail shall do; and iron cart and carriage too.
The king shall false promise make; and talk just for talking's sake. And nations plan horrific war; the like as never seen before. and taxes rise and lively down; and nations wear perpetual frown. yet greater sign there be to see; as man nears latter century. three sleeping mountains gather breath, and spew out mud, ice and death. an earthquake swallow town and town; in lands as yet to me unknown And Christian one fights Christian two and nations sigh, yet nothing do. More About Mother Shipton
Source: Selections from the Chapter 'The Devil's Own' in 'Fire Burn' by Ken Radford
It is recorded that during the reign of Henry VII 'in the year of our Lordfourtenn hundred eighty and six', there lived in the village of Knaresborough among the Yorkshire moors an orphaned girl who was barely sixteen years old. She is remembered as Agatha Southeil.
Agatha was a dreamer who roamed among the whins and fells, with nothing but paltry relief from the parish and the food she begged to keep her from starvation and a pauper's grave.
One evening, as she wandered beyond her shack on the moors, she came upon a stranger who was dressed in the cloak and hat as worn by a gentleman. She had not noticed him approach along the path, perhaps because her eyes were lowered as she sat for a shile upon a rock weeping quietly, wondering whether once more she would go hungry to her bed.
Seeing her alone and troubled, the stranger cam close. Why should one so young and attractive be sad, he wondered. He bent down, burshing a tear from her cheek. His touch was as cold as a churchyard tomb. And when she looked up with a start his eyes held her spellbound in their fiery gaze. She was not to know that is was the Prince of Darkness, the Devil himself, who hid behind the guise of a handsome young man.
'Dry your tears,' said the stranger, and promised that if she were to put her trust in him her fortune would change. There would be no more poverty and despair, and riches would be her reward.
(For a long time he stayed with her, charming her, then vanished as mysteriously as he came. She wondered if it had all been a dream, but in the morning found coins of copper and gold he left for her.)
In the days that followed, the Devil came many times to visit Agatha, aways in the guise of a young gentleman with a winsome smile and somniferous eyes. His charm and charisma won her affection, and presently he became her first love, arousing unknown passion in her heart. Once he came to her miserable dwelling and carried her off on a stallion as black and swift as a storm cloud. Far away they rode, over hills and dales with a thundering of hoofs and the rushing of wind, until a magnificant house came in sight, its windows all aglow. Servants prepared a feast for their master and his guest. There was wine and music and splendour such as Agatha had never imagined. The world lay at her feet, she was promised, now that she was the Devil's lover. Only he could ransack earth's treasures, stir thunder and lightning, and lavish upon her powers beyond her dreams, with which she could trouble and maim whomever she pleased, plague young and old with fearful nightmares and unveil what lay in the future as readily as she remembered events of the past.
Whe the feasting was over and Agatha's thoughts reeled with wine and promises of fortune to come, the lamps were dimmed. At the Devil's invitation she recited the words of some strange incantation. Whereupon the vaulted roof of heaven swirled and rumbled. The house and all around her vanished as she seemed to tumble through a pool of darkness until she awakened, bewildered, to find herself wandering the morrs in the moonlight near her shack.
Therafter, a wild glint showed in Agatha's eyes. Her face was pale and drawn, with none of the freshness of her youth.
(The fearful villages came to believe she was bewitched and Agatha took revenge on all who came to taunt her).
Accounts of the young witch's mischief were brought to the attention of the Justices who dispatched their stoutest bailiffs to apprehend her. Undaunted by the squawking of crows and the hissing of serpents that stood vigil at the door, they went inside and dragged her away.
During her inquisition and medical examination it was discovered that Agatha was with child. But the father of her baby was not mortal whit, she protested. He was a prince whose mastery knew no bounds, who held dominion over man and beast and breathed fear into their hearts.
Concluding that she was just an ignorant wench, mentally and emotionally unstable and easily seduced, the Justices paid no attention to such hysterical rambling and set her free - a compassionate verdict at a time when heresy was so cruelly punished.
But the villagers were less indulgent, continuing to persecute the girl mercilessly. Tormented by dogs and stones and bitter tongues, she was at last driven from her shack and forced to seek shelter on the moors.
the span of forty weeks expired, and the birth of her child spelled the end of Agatha Southeil's miserable life, barely had she reaved the age of seventeen. It is said that her death was attended by a howling wind which drowned the screams taht echoed in the cavern where she lay.
Close to her body they discovered a newborn female of grotesque shape. Its head was disproportionately large, with goggling eyes that burned like fire. Its cheeks were shrunken, and the mouth bore a clearly defined impression of teeth, with the upper canines protruding like the tusks of a young wild boar. Misshapen limbs joined the body as though screwed together piece by piece. Those who found the child turned their eyes in revulsion.
With no mother to watch over it, the foundling became a ward of the parish and was placed in the care of a kindly woman who gave it the name Ursula.
a stranger child she had never known. It ate greedily and slept for only a few house each day, lying awake through the night to stare into the darkness. She told how, sometimes when the night was calm, curtains stirred, doors slammed, and shutters swung wildly on the hinges. Once, when the infant was left lying in its crib, the woman returned to find her home ransacked. Windows were shattered, buring embers were strewn in the hearth, furniture was broken and upturned. Distressed, she ran to her neighbours who were afraid to cross the threashold, repelled by a fierce hissing and wailing as though wild cats were crouching behind the door waiting to spring at them.
Anxious for the safety of the child, the foster mother ventured inside. But the infant Ursula was nowhere to be seen. 'Some evil goblin has spirited the baby away!' she cried.
Every nook and cranny was searched, until the infant and crib were found wedged in the chimney.
As Ursula grew, so did her deformity and unnatural temper. She bitterly resented reproach and bared her teeth menacingly whenever she was chastized. It seemed that never a day went by when she was not attended by her father, the Devil, who lurked about the home of her guardian, appearing sometimes as a large dog with baleful eyes; other times making his presence felt with a cacophony of weird sounds and fearful happenings. The walls and floor would tremble and pulsate like heartbeats growing louder. The food on their plates would turn to mould. Crockery was flung about the room as though by a raging poltergeist. Invisible hands clawed and scratched at the foster mother, tearing her clothes from her back and laying icy fingers upon her flesh.
But always the bedevilled Ursula would only chuckle. 'Why,' she would say, 'don't be fright. There's nowt here to harm you and me.'
The foster mother was a simple, God-fearing soul, who lived in fear of the unknown. In despair she pleaded with the parish to take the child away, and at length her appeals were answered. It was then that Ursula was taken into their care, and being now of age, she was put to school where she might be taught to read and write.
The schoolmistress wondered at the imagination and speed of learning of a child blessed with none of the naivety and affection of her sex and tender years. Jealous of her scholarly success, other pupils mocked Ursula's misshapen appearance, but none escaped her vengeance. The tormentors were pinched or burned and stripped of their clothing when no one was near. At times. they were struck dumb for an hour or more, their lips and tongues swollen by some mysterious affliction.
As their schooldays passed, children learned to fear the young witch who could summon demons and plague them with nightmares. Parents grew angry when they were told of her spite and wickedness. And so it came about that she was excluded from the school and from the care of the parish, and left to fend for herself, with neither kin nor home she could call her own.
The years wore on. Now a young woman, Ursula earned the reputation of a soothsayer with remarkable understanding and foresight. Although she uttered her prophesies in strange riddles, people came from near and far to consult the Knowing One of Knaresborough. The old asked that she spell some word of the herafter; the young wondered whether their love was true and what fortune was hidden in the future.
It is recorded that in the year 1512 Ursula married a man called Toby Shipton, although history remembers nothing of him. Thereafter, she was known as Mother Shipton and her reputation spread to distant counties. She was revered as a fortune teller, and by virtue of her forbidding appearance, feared as a witch.
A chronicle of prophesies is attributed to Mother Shipton. It is said that with uncanny accuracy she foretold the end of Cardinal Wolsey; the deaths and accessions of kings and queens of England; wars and historic events during their reigns. In those days of primitive transportation, she foresaw a time 'when carriages without horses run...' and when sailing craft were at the mercy of the seas it was written:
Iron in the water shall float
As easily as a wooden boat.
When education was reserved for the privileged few, and common folk lived their lives in ignorance, Mother Shipton's vision shone into the invisible:
All England's sons that plough the land
Shall be seen with book in hand.
Learning shall so ebb and flow;
The poor shall more wisdom know.
Who but she could have forewarned that during the seventeenth century London would be stricken with plague and ravaged by flames. Pepys' diary of October 1666, describing the great fire of London, records that "Shipton's prophesy is out":
Triumphant death rides London through,
And men on top of houses go ...
