'Alam Ara' (1931) was the first Talkie film. To the best of my knowledge, no recording of any song from this film is available. The oldest available song is from the film 'Maya Machinder'. I will be extremely grateful if any other song of this vintage is uploaded.

Arunjee,
A while ago Indianscreen had uploaded the songs of 'Gopalkrishna' (1938). You probably have those, but if not I can upload them for you.
